A football team from Norway flew from Oslo to Tanzania today, a whopping 15 men strong! Their adventures in Tanzania will take them from the incredible wildlife in the worlds largest game reserve (Selous) to the white coral beaches of Zanzibar – where they'll also meet and play against "our" football team, the Makunduchi Center Boys. But before leaving Selous they'll play against the village of Mloka – a football match neither of the teams will ever forget; an international football match in the middle of "nowhere".
After their safari and "bush-match" we're going out to Zanzibar, not only to relax and play, but to help us and the Makunduchi community building a well, and also attend a variety of local projects we're working on.
We know for sure that both teams (and the entire Makunduchi village) have been looking forwards to this for months, it will be an incredible experience for all parties involved.
Stay tuned and check in here regularly – you can get involved too!
Pictures coming as soon as possible.
